Today I deleted defraggler from my PC. Why, you ask?
I downloaded a new free version today. First, it is MUCH slower than the last version. So clearly they have crippled this version to encourage people to pay.
Second, it took over my browser search engine choices. Sorry, but that has NOTHING to do with maintenance of the hard disks on my machine.
Third, Piriform have lost my trust. What else have you done to my PC that I don't know about yet???? Such a silly thing, because bad news is much easier to write about than good news. And all the good stuff I would have said about Piriform before today went right out the window.
Now I just feel that the company is untrustworthy and I won't download anything by them again. Pretty bad reaction from a simple piece of freeware.
